Since April 2023, I have worked at ABCD & Company, a marketing and events agency based in Rockville, MD. I began as a Copywriter and Content Manager and was later promoted to Senior Content & Strategy Manager. In this role, I am responsible for writing copy for marketing and branding materials, internal and external communications, newsletters, and developing brand strategy and messaging for clients across various industries, including government, associations, healthcare, and financial services. I also lead the sourcing and submission process for industry awards, helping the company win more than 30 awards in just two years.

Prior to my current role, I worked at the healthcare startup Doctorpedia in a range of positions, ultimately serving as Head of Content/Product. My responsibilities included managing the writing and editorial teams, crafting company messaging, writing copy, and acting as a liaison between the development and management teams. As is often the case with startups, I regularly took on new challenges and responsibilities, requiring me to quickly learn new skills and adapt to evolving needs.

Before Doctorpedia, I held various roles in the entertainment industry. As the Showrunner’s Assistant on the television series The Mist, I contributed creatively in the writers’ room and supported production on set in Nova Scotia, Canada. I also worked in Production & Development at The Weinstein Company and at a talent management firm, where I became skilled at collaborating with and managing cross-functional teams and clients.

While working full time, I wrote and co-produced the feature film The Long Way, which was accepted into both the Seattle and Portland Film Festivals.
